Blue Ridge Career and Technical Education classes offer Warren County students the first step to a chosen career. Whether a student ultimately wants to be a home builder, doctor, construction estimator, accountant, electrician, plumber, computer technician, auto mechanic, architect, welder, engineer, nurse, chef, manager, retail salesman, businessman, programmer, web page designer, child care provider, administrator or teacher there is a course or sequence of courses to begin the process in high school.

A variety of courses are offered in Business, Marketing, Technology, Trade and Industry, Health and Medical Sciences and Family Consumer Sciences. A student can also be a completer in a sequence of electives necessary for graduation, earn verified credits, industrial certifications and state licenses in various occupations. 110 students completed a sequence of classes in Career and Technical Education in 2007; 87 of those received credentials related to various careers and occupations.
