Graduation Year



Madelin Leonard



Madeline graduated from WCHS in 2010. She received her B.S. in Wildlife Science from Virginia Tech in 2014. While in her undergrad, Madeline worked with endangered shorebirds, black bears, reptiles, and amphibians. She is now working on her M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction, also at Virginia Tech, with a focus in science education. She graduates in May 2016 and will have her teaching license in biology.

Emily Rose Sullivan



Emily has been elected to the oldest and most distinguished honor society in the country, Phi Beta Kappa. Many of the leading figures in American history and culture have begun their careers with election to the society, including seventeen presidents of the United States. Membership is only offered to less than one percent of all undergraduates. Emily was inducted into the Beta Chapter, University of Virginia, in April of 2014.

Heather Walters



After WCHS Heather attended Christopher Newport where she made the varsity softball team as a freshman. She decided to continue her studies through Old Dominion and received a degree in elementary education and teaches now at EW Morrison where she went to grade school years ago. She married Todd Lupton also a WCHS alum and has a son, Brady.

Sarah A. Walters



After WCHS Sarah attended James Madison and graduated with a degree in elementary education. She began her teaching career in Charlotte, NC, but came back to an opportunity with Loudoun County after a couple of years. She later received her master’s degree in Instructional Technology from George Mason and currently is the computer guru at Horizon Elementary in Loudoun Co.

Chad T. Walters



After leaving WCHS, Chad attended William & Mary, graduating with honors in biology (genetics) and received his Masters from Johns Hopkins University a few years later. He currently works for GeneDX a major genetic diagnostic firm in Gaithersburg, MD He married Shayla Dean also a WCHS alum and now has two children.

Aaron S. Walters



Aaron will be turning 40 in May!!! After WCHS he went on to be the Salutatorian in 1996 class and football academic all-American at Hampden-Sydney. He finished law school with honors at the University of Virginia receiving a Juris doctorate and is currently the Chief Counsel and Director of Legal Services for capital One Banks in Richmond.
