| History
Since Warren County High School
first opened its doors to students some six decades + ago, many things
have changed over the years and some things have remained the same. The
purpose of WCHS in the school year 1939/40 or 2005/06 remains —
to prepare Warren County youth for the roles and responsibilities they
will assume as adults. Fulfilling that purpose today requires a search
for continuous improvement and a commitment to life-long learning for
both students and adults.
The
Warren County Public Schools motto states “The Trek to Excellence
Takes Everyone”. In 2002 WCPS adopted the Effective Schools Correlates
as a guide and continuing measure of success. WCHS, as the flagship of
the WCPS system, leads proudly in embracing both the county motto and
the Effective School Correlates.
