Selecting Courses at Warren County High School
Every student makes a four-year educational plan in the ninth grade. A copy of the plan is sent home to the parents for their review. A copy is maintained in the guidance office. Each year students review and revise the plan as they make decisions about courses needed for the next school year.
Students will be in a 4x4 block schedule at Warren County High School. There will not be any January graduation at Warren County High School or Skyline High School .
Students will take 4 classes during 1st semester, and 4 classes during 2nd semester. Students who fail a class 1st semester have failed the course for the year. They will not be rescheduled into the course 2nd semester. When choosing classes, students must make first, second, and third choices. A course may be canceled.
Carefully review the course description in you 'Program of Studies" booklet. Share the information with your parents. If they have questions about the courses or your selections, they should call your counselor.
